Case study · KIS
The slewing ring behind crane movement.
The project
KIS uses a crane-truck application to discuss slewing-ring bearings. The published explanation connects load capacity with lubrication suited to low speeds, oscillation and long standstill periods under load. It highlights lubricant additives and local oil availability as factors in protecting the bearing contact zone.
The animation
The film presents the slewing ring through a crane-truck application. This places the bearing within the equipment it supports and gives the technical explanation a clear connection to crane movement.
