Case study · KIS
The bearing behind the bend.
The project
KIS uses the articulated bus to explain the role of slewing rings in a familiar vehicle. The bearing connects the front and rear sections while accommodating movement and combined loads. The source highlights four-point contact ball bearings as a compact way to bring several load-handling functions together.
