Case study · AFB
A belt-drive edition for deeper storage.
The project
AFB’s D3/2-R65-180-1300 uses two drive units to move its profiles together or in steps for multi-deep storage. The source presents belt technology as the defining change from the chain-drive version, with positioning and handling performance as the product-development themes.
The animation
The film introduces the D3/2 belt-drive edition through its storage-handling role. Coordinated profile movement connects the drive arrangement with access to more than one storage position.
